halloween day

The kids had a ton of fun on Halloween day. We let Kayla and Teyton get dressed up and help Corey and I pass out some candy after trick-or-treating around our little circle. Kayla was disappointing that we didn't trick-or-treat longer at first, but after I showed her how much candy she had between 3 days of celebrating Halloween, after that she had no problem passing out candy. Both kids had fun talking/playing in the haunted house with all the kids, and seeing the fun costumes.

McKayla Alta Abbott

Born December 29, 2004 at the McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. Our nicknames for her is Sweetie-Pea, Kayla Bayla, and Angel Cake. She is our little "Mother Hen" whenever she sees someone who is hurting on the inside or outside, she is always there to bring a smile to their face. Her best friend is her little brother who she protects and helps to take care of. She is SO dramatic all the time and we love it! One of her favorite things to do is jam out to music in the car or Corey's/my ipod, she probably uses them just as much if not more than us. She REALLY gets into the music, it is so fun to watch. One day I will be fast enough to catch her on video. When she grows up she says, "I want to be on TV or a Rockstar when I'm a grown up....but I could be a doctor too". We love her so much are so grateful that she was brought into our lives.

Teyton Corey Abbott

Born September 17, 2007 at the Oklahoma University Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His nickname is Lil' Man, Bubba, and Teytanium. He is always happy and smiling. The only time this kid gets upset is when he is tired, hungry or most recently, when I take his pull-up off in the morning. He has been resisting my attempts to potty train him haha. He loves his sister so much and thinks that she is the funniest person in the world. He has such a gentle spirit in a tanks body. He is a problem solver and can get to anything inside or outside the house when he sets his mind to it. He is fearless and thinks that he is just as big and strong as his Daddy, and isn't too excited when he is reminded that that isn't exactly true haha. We love him so much and cannot imagine our life without him being a part of it.
