a day in the life of an abbott

Teyton is so good when it comes to entertaining himself while I do my everyday chores.... sometimes too good {luckily today was not one of those days}. Usually he plays his MobiGo educational games, tortures our poor dog {who loves every minute of it!}, make crazy faces for Mom's camera, changes his clothes at least 3x a day {grr!}, and just picks random places to play in our home. He also love to help me clean around the house. I just didn't take any of those pictures because I was busy cleaning too haha.
He does have his own blue MobiGo, I couldn't find it in the morning though. Oh but don't worry, I found it later in the day while putting away clothes in his closet as it fell flat on my face haha. I seriously don't know how he hides things in such weird {and high} places.

Our Kayla Bayla got the Gold Card Award this term! Each term there is an awards assembly to award the kids for good behavior, good grades, being a good citizen, etc. This one I was actually able to make it to the entire assembly. Usually I have to leave after Kayla gets her award due to a certain little boy of mine. But he was quite entertained this time.
I'm not sure what she is doing in the above picture, but I LOVE it!
The teachers broke out in a flash mob during the assembly. I had to hold Teyton back multiple times from joining in on the fun haha.

After the morning cleaning and our afternoon of errands and going to Kayla's assembly, we went home for an afternoon/evening of quilting and hanging up some cupboard faces. All in all, I'd say it was a pretty good day!

Finally!!!

This past year has been full of so many ups and downs. I have been so bad at keeping up with this blog so I am going to try my hardest to start back up and be consistent with my posting.

We have moved away from the beautiful Hawaii (and I have been missing it so much! Especially this past winter.)

We have bought our first home, (YAY!) and have been working hard to make it beautiful and our own.

There has been engagements, weddings, birthdays, visits to Utah (and Utah coming to us), fun projects (and some not so fun haha), and far to many illness and injury. I swear my quota for illness and injury has been maxed for the next 10 years!!! No more please!!! But I have been so grateful for all of the prayers, well wishes, and help given to us. I really don't know how I would've made it without all of the wonderful people in my life helping my little family along the way.

birthday time!
